Our products are made with you in mind: your skin and hair are parts of your first impression and we believe you should always put your best self forward. Our story

 

Monda is where necessity meets intention. Toni grew tired of the search for a product that would keep her skin hydrated without leaving a slimy feeling while treating her eczema flare ups. Finding a product that took care of all those things while still being completely natural was really hard to find.

 

The first butter was created 2017, and while it left her moisturized, it also left her feeling oily and smelling like shea butter (which, ironically, she is not a big fan of!). After a lot of research on the purposes of different oils, butters, foods serve the skin, and playing around with different proportions, She finally created the basic formula that is used for the butters we make here at Monda.

 

Initially, the butter was given as small gifts to loved ones, however, their anecdotes on how it helped them relieve dryness, itchiness, eczema and stay hydrated made her consider it as something helpful that others may appreciate. It wasn’t until I met Tany that Monda came to life. She was as passionate, even more so than I, about products that could help with the body’s ailments, without being processed or created in a lab.
